This is a video review I made about the Flip Mino. Please visit: www.sottoxvoce.tk The Flip Video Mino captures video in 640x480 resolution at 30 frames per second. It retails for about 0[1] (with 2 GB flash memory for about 60 minutes of video.) The Mino does not have a 1 GB alternative like the Flip Video does. The Mino has many new features that the Flip Video did not have. This includes an internal rechargeable battery instead of 2 AAs and the Mino also has pause, fast forward and rewind buttons whereas the Flip had none of these. The Mino also has some changes from the Flip. The Mino is almost 2 oz less than the Flip and the position of the arm with the USB plug on it has changed positions.
Thanks for the detailed objective review. I just bought a refurbished one for $89 and should get it next week. It’s way too featureless for my taste (I need optical zooming!) but it’s perfect for my parents.
I’d also like to say that you’re great in these vlogs. You’re very comfortable and natural, and you’re knowledgeable without being arrogant. . The “nobody likes spam” at the end even made me smile. Keep up the good work.
Well, sorta. It has 2x digital zoom, which is no more than cropping the image and then expanding what’s left to fill the space. The resulting image will be grainy and existing flaws will be amplified. Users have said not to use it.
guess what i wanna buy a mino so i go online and check the prices its at 109 dollars so then i ran out of ink for my printer i go and see the mino and guess wat its on special for 48$ at walmart and i buy it and its the best thing ever exxept it has 30 minutes of battery its great!
I got the Ultra HD and am glad I got it. I like that it has a little weight and I have dropped and and you notice when you do. Takes awesome vids and the HD is AWESOME. (Flip Ultra HD 8 gig)
I would like to know how to pause within the video to create scenes that instantly pan over to the next, without showing the transition from place to place. For example: Shane Dawson does this in his videos when he is talking to the camera. He will be in one position for a few seconds, then instantly to another without showing that he moved. I was wondering if the flip mino had this function
