how do i tell if my flip ultra hd is finished charging?

i just got a flip ultra hd camcorder, and i dont know how to tell when it is fully charged, im not having any issues with the charging, and its been plugged in for a good 5 hours id say, however i wasnt paying too much attention to if the light was blinking or not, but when i looked down the light was just a solid red, no blinking....soooo is it done charging?

Make sure you removed the battery terminal cover tabs (if they have them). Those are put on the terminals to keep the battery from discharging during packaging. If not, go ahead and use the camera. Some users had problems using the USB port on their computers because the port wasn’t supplying correct power and thus took longer to charge (more than 6 hours) and some noted very hot battery packs. Contact tech support for further help. I added the link below.
As a rule, they are usually charged after 3 hours. It will actually tell you that in your manual.
If you have it plugged to the computer it takes about 6 hours that is if the battery is very low. If you use the power adapter then you can charge it in about 3 to 4 hours.
If you think your battery is deffective you can send the unit back (if you are still under warranty) or you can buy a set of batteries, or the rechargable battery pack ( http://bit.ly/9O4Exe )
