Mini dv camcorder please help. canon, panasonic, jvc?

I am looking for a new mini dv camcorder. I plan on going to best buy tomorrow to look at them, but i have a few questions.
the three cameras im currently look at are the canon mini dv digital camcorder, jvc mini dv digital camcorder, and the panasonic mini dv digital camcorder.

. if you have or have had any of these cameras, are they good quality? i need it to plug into a mac with a firewire cable and work with imovie. is it easy to use? but mostly quality is important.
