bit.ly Just a quick video of the 2 pocket camcorders side by side ie. Kodak Zi8 played first, then same footage played on Flip UltraHD. Grab a cheap the cheap Gembird Stereo Mic from Amazon: amzn.to
Flip Ultra HD & Kodak Zi8 both filming beside each other. While the frame rate of the original footage from the Kodak is 60fps, the conversion done by YouTube takes it down to 30fps, the same as the Flip. On the audio front, the Flip is stereo while the Kodak is mono - but an external stereo mic can be fitted to it.

This is Part 1, shot with the Kodak Zi8. I test and compare the Flip UltraHD 3rd-gen 8GB pocket camcorder, with the Kodak Zi8. This is the first part of my video testing; I have left all in-car audio intact for the purposes of testing audio quality. My next tests will be in low-light, indoor/outdoor settings. Please note that rendering the videos down to 30p seems to have slightly lowered overall video sharpness, as well as image stabilization effects. There is some ghosting which occurs in the Youtube videos which wasn't as apparent in the original files -- most noticeably for the Flip.
