When I try to scan with OpenOffice nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my HP 4140 deskjet.?

Have uninstalled and reinstalled my HP 4140 deskjet all-in-one printer. No response when I use Open Office: insert-picture-scan-request. Recently I purchased a Flip Mino video camcorder and after I downloaded pictures and software from the camcorder the scan function would not work, but I at least got an error message. Then I uninstalled the Flip Video software and all the HP software, reinstalled HP software, but now there is absolutely no response when I try to scan. Any suggestions?

    How can I transfer video files from my Sony Camcorder disk to Power Point?

    I have already finalized the disk. When the disk is in my computer, the file extensions are .vob .ifo and .bup. When I try to open them through power point, the error message is
    "Power Point couldn't insert a movie from the selected file. Either the file is non-standard, or Quick Time is not installed properly." HELP. I need this video for a presentation

      My Flip Video Ultra, FlipShare Software Is Driving Me Crazy Please Help ?

      I bought a flip video ultra camcorder today as soon as I plugged it in I was dissapointed. The FlipShare software didn't load my windows vista just wasn't recognising it. So I called the helpline (who werent very helpfil) and they sent me a link to upgrade software. I have done this and eventually flipshare opened (slowly). Now when I try to import videos I get this message I get this error message 'The following error occurred while finding pictures and videos to import: The filename. The directory name, or volume lable syntax is incorrect' can someone please help? I'm so gutted, I thought the point of flip videos were that their easy to use???

      How do I reset my digital camera samsung l210?

      I have a samsung L210 and for some reason now that i download my pictures on my computer I get the same error message "this window needs to close"
      and when i record video I cant view them or edit them in adobe premier or even the cheap windows movie maker.

      I figured it might be a problem with the camera, and I was thinking of erasing the main folder of the camera but Im not entirely sure this is smart. can anybody help?

      How to view my Samsung camera videos on my computer?

      Windows Media player won't play my camera's video, it says 'video cannot be displayed'. Also the Samsung software gives me an error message. I tried Quicktime player with no success. Any suggestions?
